INTRODUCTION

Home / INTRO

The last five years at ULAB have been truly life-changing, shaping me academically and personally. Throughout this time, I had the privilege of being instructed by incredible faculty members who not only imparted valuable knowledge but also made me realize my own potential. I also had the fortune of meeting great colleagues who advised and supported me along the way.

The well-structured curriculum at ULAB, specifically the Digital Film and Television Production (DP) coursework, played a vital role in enhancing my knowledge and skills in the media sector. The integration of various MSJ courses and the effectively structured content of my major enabled me to build the ability to convey ideas, concepts, and creative visions instantaneously within my workplace. These skills were also greatly beneficial during my internship, where I had the chance to apply what I had studied to real life. My colleagues used to praise ULAB’s education system quite often and would request me to tell them more about the university and its teaching method.

Beyond academics, I could translate my learning into cinematography work for various companies, bringing my education to life in the industry. Not only did such hands-on experiences advance my creative and technical capabilities, but they also reinforced the significance of storytelling and visual communication.

I am deeply grateful to my instructors, staff, administrators, and friends who have been a significant part of my development over the past five years. ULAB has given me the opportunity to develop, grow, and explore the world of media like I never imagined. The commitment of the faculty members, their support, and their quest for excellence have moved me immensely, and I am thankful to be part of such a dynamic and forward-looking academic environment.
